*The Carlock Public Library will be opening its door to the public on Monday, July 6th. We will have very strict guidelines that we must adhere to in order to keep our patrons and our staff safe. We will be open from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Wednesdays we will be open for entryway pick-up only. Call in (376-5651) or email (email@example.com) 9:00 am till Noon with pick up 1:00 pm till 4:00 pm.
*Children will need to be accompanied by an adult. Only two people in the library at a time for now. Mask needs to be worn by patrons and the staff will wear one to protect you. All the toys and play things in the children’s area have been removed.
*Patrons will state their name to the librarian upon entering the library and will be able to browse the shelves. We ask that you do not linger or visit. When your selections have been made you will leave them on the far left of the middle desk in the main part of the library and go to the entryway or outside to wait for your items to be checked out. The librarian will bring out your checked out materials and leave them for you to take home. The computer, fax machine, and copier will be open but restricted to one person at a time.
*We apologize to our patrons for our harsh rules, but the library has guidelines set up by the state that we must follow. Unfortunately, this will be our new normal for a while. Everyone has a different comfort zone with this virus and we have to be careful and tolerant of each other and try to keep everyone safe. We appreciate the patience that you have given the library the last three months as we tried to navigate through this pandemic.
